Once the monster captured in chests by Bored Mike are set free, they can find their masters, and a new generation of monsters can begin to thrive!
As we learn from the habits of the new monster types, we can exploit the Breeding Machine developed by Bored Mike.

Limitations

Since Bored Mike couldn't finish his work, the breeding machine only works for the same monster type.
In the meantime, Satoshis Games keeps looking for patterns in the monster's habit to develop a cross-type breeding machine!
Mental clarity is required on the battlefield. For that reason, a recovery time (based on rarity level) is enforced after breeding.

The Breeding Machine uses a forced process of natural breeding, with one consequence of this being a degenerative effect on fertility.
This means that the breeding ability of each future generation of monsters is reduced. When Monsters reach their 3rd generation after Genesis, they cannot breed anymore.
This ensures a limited supply of monsters.

Breeding two monsters of different generations will result in a monster of the next generation to the highest of its two parents.Gen0 + Gen1 = Gen 2

Natural Process

At first, we believed each monster had only 6 genes. However, recent studies show they have another 6 recessive genes that could be involved in breeding.
Dominant attributes of the parents will have higher probabilities of being inherited by the offspring (39.67%) while recessive attributes will have lesser probability, resulting in mutations (10.33%).
Two monsters are involved in the breeding process. To breed, each monster will need to be an adult (see Maturing). The offspring will have the same probabilities of attributes being inherited from either parent (50%).
To breed, the monsters need to be fed with $MPGLD and $MPOLY. This can only be done with the breeding machine.
